Details:
These images where taken in between the Norwegian and Finnish border the area they call no mans land. I planned this image for a number of years and never managed to get it right. But just before 1 am, when all the other large bus loads of people had gone home , the skies opened up once again with a spectacular view of the Aurora from every direction . Looking in the direction of the three bordering counties the Aurora danced. Our guests from india and england where just gobsmacked ,with the wonderfull performance of the Aurora which lasted way into the small hours of the 27th. We returned home at 4 am with two 64gb cards full to capacity. what a night, And today we still have a 97% success rate in finding the Aurora here at M.H.O.E.A.C.T. long may it last.
