Details:
Santa put a solar filter under the tree. Just before sundown today I managed to capture a few images using my Nikon D7000 along with my 500mm Reflex N manual lens and the new 82mm Type 2+ solar filter. Photographing the sun for the first time ever and not having a lot of time before the sun slipped behind the trees, I don't think they turned out so terribly bad. Maybe tomorrow I will have more time to work with my setup and have better luck.
