Details:
Shooting through light-polluted skies, so not a naked-eye object. This image a set of 26 1-minute exposures at f7.5, ISO-800; Canon 40D mounted on an Orion ED80. Much processing, to try to get as much faint detail out of the exposures, without blowing out the coma. Images stacked & dark-subtracted manually, in Paint Shop Pro. Perturbed galaxy NGC 2188 is visible just above the scale bar. Second image posted uses 10 frames, aligned on the stars, to show this galaxy. http://dso-browser.com/dso/info/NGC/2188

Thanks Noeleen; have you managed to see it yet? Im hoping for even better as it passes perihelion, although itll be disappearing from our skies around Australia Day, as the waxing Moon starts to interfere again.
