Details:
After battling cloud for several hours, our persistence (stubbornness) paid off as the clouds cleared and the fireballs blazed. This is the best display of Geminid fireballs I have ever seen, with flurries of 5 or 6 occurring within several minutes at times. To see a meteor shower this good from the southern hemisphere (Australia) is rare, and we're glad we went to the extra effort to observe it.
