Details:
Firstly let me state ; that this season so far has been absolutely increadable and unbelievable, with aurora's of some description or an other been in the sky just about every single night.
Since the 1st Sept 2014 to present (13 dec) we at Marianne's Heaven On Earth Aurora Chaser Tour's / www.Chasethelighttours.co.uk have had a 97% success rate in viewing the aurora.
Yes thats only 3 nights with no aurora present in the skies and these blank nights where due to extremely bad
weather conditions throughout the three counties traveled on these given nights ,while in pursuit of the northern lights. (Norway/Finland/Sweden.)
And even on the three nights we did not see anything in the sky ,the aurora's where present with the kp value ranging fro 1-4 and the bz going back and forward from north to south all night as usual.
Even as i speak earth is inside a stream of high solar wind from previous events on the sun.
All in all ,what a season we have had up to now ,long may it last.
