Planewave 20" CDK f/4.5 reflector + FLI PL6303E camera (L:1×300 Bin1)
Comet C/2012 X1 (LINEAR) imaged on August 5, 2014 from Siding Spring, Australia. Shining at 10 magnitude the comet has a coma of 7' diameter and also showing a wide and weak tail of dust that comes out of field toward northwest. The middle of the image is dominated by three spiral barred galaxies, from right to left: NGC 7332B, NGC 7233 and NGC 7232 around two 8th magnitude stars, all the group located inside of constellation of Grus.
