Details:
Very unusual cloud formations in early afternoon. There was a large front moving through the Outer Banks of NC. The clouds were similar to Mammatus clouds. Beside them was a cloud that looked like a drape or veil, part of a cone shape that pointed up. Beneath and to the right of this strange cloud was a hatch mark of sun rays. Very dramatic. What was this?
