Details:
This huge prominence was a spectacular sight visually through the H-alpha scope, fortunately I switched to the camera before the best of it was over.
The range of brightness was so large that there are two exposures, one showing some detail in the brighter prominence and the other showing more detail in the fainter curved prominence.
The fainter prominence subsided over the next half an hour, which was just as well because the cloud started forming shortly afterward.
