Milky way and geysers at Tatio
Taken by Lecleire Jean-Marc on January 27, 2014 @
I have spent one night at Tatio in Chile (near San Pedro de Atacama), at 4300 m above level of the sea. I made this picture with a Canon 6D camera, it is a panoramic photo from 6 individual pictures.
This photo won the international 'PNA' contest : https://www.facebook.com/ESOAstronomy/photos/a.441878552494.229226.10867667494/10152832868682495/
That morning, just before dawn, the geysers vapor was visible on the moonlight (a thin crescent moon).
