Details:
The evolution of this giant is still going on, with the core of the main spot doubling in size since October 20th. I am sure that this behemoth will survive another one maybe even two rotations and will offer nice views the following month. I have attached a small animation made up from five images, each a 1200 frames stack, showing both the evolution of the group and the rotation of the Sun over a one hour period. The comparison composition has all the technical details, both images being acquired at the same scale.
