Details:
The giant AR2192 is preparing to say "Goodbye!". In two days time it will be over the limb, but for sure it will come again on a second rotation, and perhaps in a third one also, due to the continuous evolution of the central spot. Too bad the seeing is degrading for mid-norther latitudes since the Sun is getting lower in the sky, but still, the sight of such a huge spot even without instruments and just a solar filter is superb!
The images attached were acquired with a 115mm Refractor and ASI120MM camera for the detail shot, and a Maksutov 90mm and Canon 550D for the whole Sun. Both instrument were of course equipped with a solar filter.
