Details:
Shown is a pair of images with just a bit of the moon eclipsing the sun. Hydrogen alpha image acquired by a Lunt 80 mm and Nikon D800 with a dozen images stacked. White light image taken with a Questar 3.5, .6X positive lens, and a Nikon D7100. This pair is an attempt to replicate the eyepiece view with a closer match of color seen by an observer.
