Details:
Most of the day in Eastern Iowa on October 23, 2014 was rainy or overcast but clearing was on the way. Some 20 minutes before sunset the eclipsed sun broke through a line of clouds to produce this beautiful spectacle at 6:08 PM CDT. Shot with a Nikon D5000 DSLR and 200mm focal length lens.
