Details:
Composite image created in Photoshop of the big sunspots of 2014(AR2192) from SOHO, 2001(AR9393) from spaceweather.com, and the great sunspot of 1947(largest ever recorded)
Positions on the solar disk shifted somewhat to avoid overlap.
Good thing these aren't all on the sun at once!
