Very cool sunspot. It is so large that I was able to take these pictures with a Skyquest XT8 and just a smartphone held up to the eyepiece!

This just goes to show that you dont need super fancy equipment to get started in astrophotography! Just a smartphone and a decent telescope will do. Obviously more advanced techniques exist but perfect for the beginner on a budget!
