Details:
The night sky above Finnmark, Northern Norway was once again illuminated by the Aurora Borealis this evening.
The display lasted for in excess of nine hours and we were treated to 'curtains', 'pencils' and 'bands'. The intensity of light was sublime, as indeed were the colours.
We've been here for almost two weeks and have seen Auroras pretty much every night so, all being well, we're in for a really good season.
I used a Canon 5D Mk3 and Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 lens to capture these images. ISO was set to 1000, and the shutter speed varied from 15 - 25 seconds.
