Comet Siding Springs C/2013 A1 from Arizona
Taken by Chris Schur on September 28, 2014 @ One of the first, if not THE first sighting of this comet as is rushes northward from the southern hemisphere on its way to its destiny with Mars in October. Only 5 to 8 degrees up, very low and dim at 10.1 magnitude. Very little tail seen here. IVe keyed in the features in this image. Zeiss 80mm APO at f/4.8, Canon Xti, 10mins
