Details:
After the second cme hit I decided to climb above the aberdeenshire fog, and as you can see I was not alone, with quite a few like minded aurora enthusiasts making the ascent up Benachie. The aurora was very active for a time, with bright rays around the moonrise, but as the moon rose higher in the sky, it became more difficult to make out the forms, and there was some patchy cloud. Taken at 2059 UTC with a Canon 6d, 14mm Samyang lens, f2.8, ISO 1600, 15s exposure.
