Details:
The auroras had rays reaching 40 to 50 degrees up from the horizon. Best period was from about 9 p.m to about 9:45 pm, just as the moon was rising. Associated colours: greenish-yellow, red and mouve. Canon T3i captured more colour intensity than what the unaided eye could detect.
