Auroras
Taken by Rodrigo Roesch on August 28, 2014 @ During the Northern Nights Star Fest, auroras started showing in the NE horizon with very defined green/red columns of light which lasted for about 10-15min. However, 20 min later, a beam of light appeared coming from the NW and extending more than 90 degrees converging with the Milky Way. First, the Aurora beam moved and split into two beams, red and white and then merged into one red. This is the first time I see auroras crossing the Milky Way, usually they are more NE or NW. Canon 6D, Lens Rokinon 14mm. 20-30s exp, ISO 2000-3200
