Details:
Seeing a view of Mars, Saturn and the moon together before they set in these mountains requires a long climb up a Rocky Mountain peak, so today I had to be satisfied with bright sky glimpse of the last of the trio setting. Turbulence made Saturn twinkle even at considerable altitude, but I got a few of frames that evoke childhood memories of watching Saturn set over these mountains. High view: Pentax K5IIs, 540mm, 1/160 seconds, iso 2000, 8:20 pm. Saturn in trees: Added 2x barlow, 1/50 seconds, 5000 iso, 8:24 pm.
