possible aurora or sun reflection?
Taken by John Wright on August 28, 2014 @ walked out on the balcony overlooking the beach at just about 5:11 am and saw this bright ball of light in the sky. The sky was completely free of clouds, with the exception of the ones on the horizon over the ocean. It faded pretty quickly after my first shot and started to appear more blue in the other images. the 2nd image the camera is facing north towards the fishing pier in Rodanthe. Nikon D3 20mm F2.8 ISO 1000 15 Seconds at f2.8
