Details:
Mercury was only 7° above the western horizon and at a 15° separation from the Sun. The shots were taken between 21:11 and 21:15 UTC with a Sony DSC-HX300 camera. Amazingly, although only 5 arc-sec in diameter, its 89% illuminated disc came out fairly well in the last photo, obtained by using a 400x total zoom.
