Details:
Sentinels of the dawn arose slowly above the tree line; first the moon, then Jupiter, followed by Venus. For a time Venus seemed muted by some low thin clouds, but then it emerged in its full glory. As images were taken, the sky turned blue and pink as sunlight painted the scattered clouds. One by one Jupiter, Venus, and finally the moon surrendered to the rising sun, not to appear in such a formation again for a long, long time. Image with Cannon 60D camera, f 5.6, 1/8 second, ISO-1600, 28-200 lens with partial zoom to suitable frame scene. 2014/08/23 10:28 UT
