Details:
Canada's largest annual star party - Starfest - is under way with hundreds of campers in central Ontario Canada enjoying the camaraderie and views of the night sky. This image of Comet Jacques was captured with a Nikon DSLR on a 140cm refractor. Jacques is beautifully placed for northern hemisphere observers, especially Starfesters!

Nice shot. I was observing Jacques with a hand-held 4.25 inch f/4.25 RFT at 35X around 03:10 UT, and it punched right through the haze and upper light dome of the KC metro.

What instrument did you use that yields f/1.0?!!!!
