My contribution to this event is from 19. August UT 23.20 It was a night of long car ride, then there were many clouds and ground fog. After 3 hours of waiting, the clouds has gone Halpha RGB Halpha 500 sec 3x3 bin R 1x400 3x3 G 1x400 3x3 B 3x400 3x3 Esprit 80/400 Moravian G3-11002 Michael Jäger

Dear all

Thank you for your interest in the image.
My contribution to the ongoing discussion. It is okay to discuss whats real sky shots and where the result is artistic.

For me this debate leads on the question of total exposure time. Especially the ion tail changes quickly.
Therefore, I hold exposure times over 20 minutes for problematic
Halpha is no problem. I can see the brightest part of the coma
and tail on this image.
