Details:
Despite the moon's glare I saw some bright Perseids late last night (north south direction mainly towards Aquila or bellow Lyrae and one bolide that went across the whole sky leaving a trail) and early this morning below Perseus and through Taurus again north south direction, although 2 went the other way. Photographing them was another matter however! I was either pointed the wrong way or not capturing during the best of them, but did manage this one in this mornings pre-dawn sky at around 04:20. This one was fairly bright (I'd estimate mag 0) and seemed to end with an explosion. Taken with Sony Alpha 100 using 16mm lens at F3.5 ~ 34 seconds exposure driven with Astrotrac.
