The August 2014 "supermoon" was so big, it did not fit inside this uncropped picture, hence, the "flat top". Taken at 126X zoom (optical+digital) with Sony DSC-H400 digicam on 2:12:13 a.m. You can see its entirety (full disc) with lower zoom in my cropped shot taken 2:09:05 a.m. Note: the moon became full at 2:09:24 a.m. as computed by Calsky. Both pictures were resized proportionally from 5152x3864 pixels for smaller file size and faster uploading.
