Details:
A Pentax K-x DSLR, fitted with a light pollution filter was placed at the Newtonian focus of an f/4.8, 10 inch Newtonian. 34 x 30s RAW exposures were captured at ISO 12800 and stacked on the comet in Registax 5. 16 of the images were stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, stacked on the stars to produce the second image:
