Details:
There was a very large prominence on the limb of the Sun today, I wanted to keep watching it in the hope that it may have broken away…but alas the clouds came and that was the end of that! There is also one little lonely sunspot AR2119 seen on the surface…. Image taken with a Lunt 80mm solar telescope and Canon 7D camera with a 2x Barlow lens. The image is a composite of two images one for the surface and one for the prominences.
