OCO2 rocket launch
Taken by JUAN PEREZ on July 2, 2014 @ From Wittmann Arizona, I was able to detect with binoculars and my camera, the launching of the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2. Launched from Vanderberg AFB just north of Los Angeles at 02:56 LST or 09:56 UT. This shot was taken with a Canon 60Da using an 18mm lens with 30 second exposure at f/2.8 and ISO of 3200.
