Details:
It was a perfect morning on the Canadian Prairies for watching the waning Moon and Venus rising together over the wide and flat horizon. This was the scene at between 3:45 and 4:30 am local time as the pair rose into clear skies amid the orange twilight. Some mist in the far off valley created the blue-grey band at the bottom, for a fine-art look. It was a beautiful sight on a summer morning. I shot these with 200mm and 135mm telephoto lenses.
