After several weeks I was able to go back to photograph the comet, which shows a much weaker ion tail. apo 106/530 ccd FLi11002 2x600s

The dust tail appears shorter. Ion tail looks fine to me. Why do you say ion tail weaker?

Because of he had to push the cyan to highlight it: you do not see the stars cyan too much?
