Conjunction of a crescent moon and Jupiter. They were so close that the Jovian Galilean satellites could be distinguishable in the same shot, which can be seen in the larger image. Nikon COOLPIX P510 digital camera; ISO 1600, F4.7, 1s exposure, f=250mm for Moon and Jupiter. ISO 800, F5.5, 2s exposure, f=900mm for Moon with earthshine ISO 1600, F5.9, 1s exposure, f=1000mm for Jupiter and its moons.
