The Sun
Taken by James Carini on May 26, 2014 @ Alaska is truly the land of the midnight sun. We are getting over 19hrs of sunlight in Anchorage right now and this at 8PM (3:45mins before sunset). The weather was crystal clear today minus the billowing smoke from the Funny River Horse Trail forest fire that is over 60niles away from where I live. The fire has burnt 160,000 acres of timber in a week and is growing. The smoke made for a fascinating filter for out sun!
