I'm not sure if this image is light pillar. Maybe somebody can help to explains this phenomenon.

That would be my guess, but unfortunately Im not sure, but I also would be interested in finding out, because I photographed the same thing in the first part of May and the weather was cool but not sub zero, like Ive noticed when pictures of light pillars have been posted.I know the temps. can be a lot colder at altitude.

Yes, they are artificial light pillars. Ground lights are reflected by hexagonal plate crystals in cloud or haze

Usually the crystals are in relatively low level ice fogs. Here they must be in a layer of high (and cold) cirrus haze. A rare sighting.
