Lunar occultation of Saturn
Taken by Duncan Waldron on May 14, 2014 @ Much cloud throughout the day didn't bode well for this event, but a gap appeared for just long enough to record ingress, with a few light patches passing during ingress. 3 separate exposures with Canon 40D at coudé focus of 150 mm (f = 2250 mm) Zeiss achromat refractor. 1/3 sec, 1/13 sec & 1/50 sec at ISO-100; images combined to render Moon & Saturn with more pictorial tones.
