Details:
The "X" was a little faded by the time I could get an image, but the "V" shows up fairly well. The Moon has to be just at 1st Quarter, almost exactly. Image made with a Canon T3i working at prime-focus through an 8-inch Astro-Tech f/8 R-C cassegrain. Exposure was 1/250-second at ISO-800.
