Details:
This was a fantastic show on the Alberta Prairies! A crystal clear night and a comfortable 3 deg C. The HSS arrived as predicted and put on a great display. Even as the darkness of night faded into dawn the Aurora was still visible at 5:00am MST.

Hello Zoltan

Nice pictures.
I am a real aurora enthousiast and have recently posted some pictures from Iceland. They were the best I have ever seen.
However enough boasting about myself.
I will be in Calgary on October 13 this year and while I am there I intend to rent a car and will try to catch some auroras.
What would be a good (dry) place to see them?
Perhaps Slave Lake?

Please let me know.
My email is williamwolfs@gmail.com

Thanks
