A DMK21AS camera was placed at the prime focus of a Solarmax ll 60 BF15 H-alpha scope and a 5000 frame AVI was captured at 14-30h BST. The animation has been speeded up by a factor of 20x and the active region AR2036 can be seen to develop a flare which persisted for several minutes
