Details:
The moon is seen here in the SW sky as it prepares to leave totality during the April 15, 2014 eclipse. Time was 3:06 AM. Its appearance was a breathtaking red. Accompanying the moon was the star Spica and the planet Mars. Air temperature was an unseasonably cold 26 degrees F.
