I woke up at about 2am to go see the first eclipse in the tetrad of lunar eclipses. What made this eclipse so special was Spica's close encounter with the Moon and Mars being at opposition the same night! Needless to say it was an eclipse not to be forgotten. Canon Rebel XTi 300mm f/11 ISO 400 2.5s
