Details:
Plagued by cloud and rain the last few month, there has not been much chance for any astrophotography. A small gap in the weather on the evening of the 7th allowed me to capture the contrasting colours of Mars and Spica. In the image are also the positions of two asteroids, Vesta and Ceres which are at opposition at the present time. Canon 60D 14x30second frames unguided.
