Details:
From Canary Islands (Lat28ÂșN) the Southern Cross is very low. We can see only 3 stars. However the clear skies and high altitud of the islands permit to enjoy the 4th star of the Cross very close over the horizon during a few minutes each night in spring. This star is below the horizon but the hight altide help to observe all the Cross. Canon 350D 18-5mm lens. ISO 800. Exposure 30"
