Details:
Mars is still showing a tiny northern icecap and the orograohic clouds over the big vulcanoes persist since at least mid January when I started imaging them.
Mars is approaching opposition and it is best shown by it's size that has increased to 15 arcseconds and the disc illumination that is now close to 100%.
I did not have high expectations for this opposition due to Mars small size and its low altitude in the sky of only 24°, but I have been proven wrong.
I used an OrionOptics CT-10" Newton with a 4x Powermate and a DBK41AF02 color camera.
