Details:
The Red Planet glows balefully at lower-right from the club observatory of the Central Missouri Astronomical Association, in Columbia. The 8-inch refractor shown is carried on a Merz & Mahler mounting. Photo made March 29th with a tripod-mounted Canon 5D-MkII and 24-85mm zoom, set to 24mm. Exposure was 30-seconds at f/7 and ISO-6400.
