Aurora Borealis
Taken by Hans-Dieter Fleger on March 26, 2014 @ I new about the C5 class flare a couple of days before, but C5's usually don't creat Aurora's strong enough to reach all the way down to 59°59'N, so I was about to go to bed. With one leg under the quilt, I took a final look out of my bedroom window. When I saw what was about to unfold, I had no choice but to get dressed in a hurry, and to take my photo.-grear out on my patio. and start taking shots towards the north.
