Dear Tony, here is a photo of a green flash turning blue I captured near the Mont-Saint-Michel a few days ago. I was far from be sure to see the green flash as the atmosphere was rather moist after days and days under a large anticyclone. More, the place was all covered with clouds. But a band of clear sky way anyway visible 1° above the horizon (see last photo). Finally, when I saw a mock mirage atop the Sun, I was excited and ready to shot because I know that such transition layers are ideal for a green flash. And it appears that I was wise to shot because despite my expectation, the green flash turned to blue for a fraction of second. Finally, when the sun was just at the horizon, no green flash was visible, because of the mist low just above the horizon. I have made two versions: - The 3 photos version have been taken in about 1 s. - The 5 photos version have been taken in about 3 s. Have a nice day. King regards.
