Details:
i am enclosing my last lunar image including a mosaic of the wide lunar region, from Marius and the domes field to Hansteen. Interestingly the image of the lunar features is made closed to terminator, using the Mak Cassegrain 18 cm. From Rome i was able to image many domes in Marius and Reiner, where the formation (swirl) Reiner gamma is at the terminator resulting no brigth as it is under higher solar angle. It is intriguous the comparison of the albedo of Reiner Gamma compared with higher albedo shown for the southern features imaged, including the highlands and the craters until to Hansteen and Billy (to the right on the enclosed image). Mons Hansteen, at this solar angle has high albedo. Thus the image displays the non monogenetic lunar mare domes in Marius and the highland dome Mons Hansteen. In this mosaic, near a sinuous short rille, is shown also the short part of a rille which is the eastern branch of the long Rima Sirsalis starting from the crater Sirsalis A, which is located apparently at higher elevation than the soil where the eastern branch of rima Sirsalis falls.
