I was out in the evening take long (20 seconds) exposures of aurora, and didn't even notice that this (I think) iridium satellite flared directly into my camera frame. (I often gaze around the sky during an exposure, for inspiration on my next shot) Not until I went indoors and uploaded my photos to the computer, did I notice this brilliant iridium flare, pinpoint sharp.
